New Design 4001 was the top selling bull in our 2005 Annual Bull Sale.  He sold for $9500 for ½ interest to Horizon Ranches.  This herd bull is sired by King Kahn an ABS bull who was the featured lot 1 bull of the 2002 King Kahn Cattle Company Sale where he sold 2./3 interest for $53,000.  This royally bred bull is the son of the now deceased, long time marbling leader, B/R New Design 323.  323 sired great females with the best udders in the breed. 

His dam is the 2002 American Royal Grand Champion, who many cattlemen said is the most phenotypically perfect female.  Her first calf was Reserve Champion Junior Yearling at the 2005 National Western Stock Show.  Her first flush to King Kahn produced “New Design 4001”, “New Design 4000” and the award winning, “Lazy JB Lexus 408" and "Lazy JB Lexus 505".

4001 is siring big, stout, phenotypically, structurally sound calves.  He is the sire of Brandon's top show heifer, "Lazy JB Blackbird 691".
